Patrick K. Greene

Patrick K. Greene, a partner in the firm, practices general corporate law with an emphasis in transactional work and in the representation of closely-held business entities. Mr. Greene began his legal career with a major New York firm, where he devoted a substantial amount of his practice to corporate finance. Upon returning to upstate New York, Mr. Greene practiced with an Albany firm where he acquired a foundation in real estate development and finance. During the early 1990s, while in private practice, he also served as counsel to the Albany County Executive. While serving in such capacity, he was responsible for drafting the current charter for Albany County.

Mr. Greene has been credited with successfully representing several New York municipalities and public entities in matters arising out of unlawful municipal financing schemes. In each instance, his work led to the return to the affected municipalities and entities of several million dollars of taxpayer money.

Mr. Greene received his law degree from the Fordham University School of Law, where he was on the staff of the Law Review. He received his bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University and a master's degree in history from the State University of New York at Albany. Mr. Greene is admitted to practice before the courts of the states of New York and Connecticut and the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. He is a member of the Albany County and New York State Bar Associations.
